Merlin, the prime contractor entered into a sub-contract with Quadrant for the maintenance and support of 4 Tucano Simulators (manufactured by Ferranti) and 6 Tucano Cockpit Procedures Trainers (manufactured by Pennant) at RAF Linton-On-Ouse near York.

The Programme has been running very successfully since 2003 and continues until the end of 2010.
Under the same FIASTS Programme, Quadrant is also providing maintenance and support for the Tornado F3 Mission Simulator at RAF Leeming in Yorkshire until 2008.
Quadrant employs full maintenance teams on both RAF sites and is responsible for Spares, Repairs and other support activities with appropriate flow down of contract conditions from the prime PPP contract.
